REDUCED CONTINGENT FEE
Attorney Ruocco will accept a reduced contingent attorney’s fee of one quarter (1/4) rather than the normal and customary fee of one third (1/3) if in the event a client’s legal claim is settled and a monetary recovery can be obtained without the need for a lawsuit to be started.
Examples:
1. If a case settles quickly for $12,000.00, the legal fee will be only $3,000.00 (1/4) rather than that of $4,000.00 (1/3). This is the mathematical equivalent of the settlement paid being in the sum of $13,500.00 if in the event suit was commenced and a one third legal fee was incurred by the client.
2. If a case settles quickly for $60,000.00, the legal fee will be only $15,000.00 (1/4) rather than that of $20,000.00 (1/3). This is the mathematical equivalent of the settlement paid being in the sum of $67,500.00 (1/3) if in the event suit was commenced and a one third legal fee had been incurred by the client.
